To maintain a good credit rating, you should pay your bill before disconnection. If the bill remains unpaid 10 days after the gross amount due date, service will be discontinued without any further notice. An applicable re-connection fee must be paid before service is restored. We do not like to shut off service to our customers, but if your account remains unpaid, we will have no other alternative.
Payment arrangements can be made in the office before the disconnection date.
Your water will be disconnected if you fail to pay your bill. If you want your water disconnected for any other reason, please contact M.C.B.P.U. by phone or in person during normal business hours. Or download a copy of the Application to Disconnect Water Service, complete, and return to our office.
Once service has been disconnected due to non-payment, the full balance (plus any service charges) must be paid before service can be reinstated. (i.e. a $40.00 reconnect fee if paid by 2:00 p.m. If the account remains unpaid after 2:00 p.m. there will be an additional $45.00 after hours fee charged.) The full balance must be paid before service can be reinstated.
If you have a balance forward (BF) on your bill, this is due immediately to avoid your water service being disconnected. The current part of your bill is due on the 20th.
